As I leave the quiet and serene Hua Hin, the next stop is the busy and popular capital of Thailand, Bangkok. Arriving the central city, I was quickly overwhelmed with towering skyscrapers and enormous shopping malls all around me. Lively, is the word to describe Bangkok. The streets were clustered with pedestrians and cars from all directions and the city's diversity is so astonishing.

All the stores and hotels were very modern and gorgeous. I got to try the traditional Thai milk tea and their legendary dessert in an afternoon tea in Grand Hyatt Hotel which tasted exquisite but a little too sweet for my liking. However, the countless shopping malls definitely took plenty of my energy. There were so many various stores like Top Shop, local markets like Asiatique had dried mango and coconut sweets and small cafes that I could not even visit half of them.

Respecting and trying to learn more about Thailand and Thai people, I also visited the Grand Palace and many temples where their past emperors have visited or lived in. The glorious temples felt very powerful that I still remember its statues. The Grand Palace was very breath taking and just incredibly magnificent which took hours to see its entire colourful architect. Getting to taste the classic Pot Thai and Papaya Salad in Thailand was also quite special to me. It was a great experience and I love this lively city.
