Another Visit to the City I Love

The happiest getaway trip I could ask for. I did manage to get some work done no worries, but the best part was the time away from school and Taiwan itself that suffocated my black, scratched lungs. It was like walking out of a burning house after living inside it for 3 years. It's when you get the weakest breath of pure air that you realized you have accustomed yourself to the smoke of shadows casted by the bitter taste of fire.
We went on a small city tour, to Tokyo Station and around Shinjuku Station. Everything around me seems to have labeled themselves with the time of modernism, not that I minded or cared. I bought a few books on illustrations. 2 books to be exact. To inspire my art or something, I might have just liked the artists I don't really know. Either way, I think I got a small peek into a daily life of someone living in Tokyo.
