Some days are just perfect for a spontaneous hike. To relax, exercise and hang out with friends. The sun wasn't blazing hot and the temperature wasn't freezing cold, so we just decided to go on a hike. Junjianyan was fairly close to where we were and the path took about 20 minutes including stopping to take some photographs. Fortunately, there were less than 10 people which allowed the trip to be very quiet and peaceful. At the top is a magnificent view of Tianmu and Shilin District. There was a huge, elegantly layered sandstone to take photos and sit on to just look at the incredible city. Despite the sky having a bit of cloud, the houses and buildings were still visible. We sat there and simply talked whilst taking in sight for about 30 minutes, I loved and definitely enjoyed this unplanned trip.
